Just another miz’rable Monday / 6 minute stir fry
2013 February 4
OK, what’s the deal, Sullivan? This is what I say to myself when I’m in one of those bad moods you can’t shake.
I went to the grocery store and it was like Valentine’s Day threw up on my face.
Whatever.
I bought myself some flowers and then high-tailed it out of the candy section.
But the real reason I’m posting at you tonight is to share the 6-minute stir fry recipe: aka, no recipe, buy prepackaged things and cook it with soy sauce until done.
Here’s what you need:
- Uncle Ben’s single serving 90 second microwave rice
- Vegetables of any kind (I used green and red peppers, mushrooms, brocoli, and onions).
- Soy sauce
Heat olive oil in a skillet, saute veggies for 6 minutes or until crisp tender. Toss some soy sauce in the pan, stir, and serve over the 90-second rice.
Not even really a recipe, eh?

The idea of ninty minute rice made me giggle.
HA! That’s hilarious.
